The Bachelor of Education (Post-Secondary) as a 2nd Degree program is designed for students who have successfully completed an acceptable bachelor's degree. The program is designed to prepare students for a variety of instructional and leadership roles in formal and informal post-secondary education, including careers in academic, adult, community, technical and trades, and professional education.

Applicants must have

• An undergraduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland or from an institution recognized by Memorial University of Newfoundland with at least second class standing or equivalent;

OR

• An undergraduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland or an institution recognized by Memorial University of Newfoundland and have successfully completed Education 2700, 2720 and 2801 

• International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Pearson Test of English (Academic) [min. 58] or DuoLingo [min. 115] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 79] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 50-60]
